Outdoor-Hive Newsletter December 11th, 2024
Tips and career/job opportunities in the shooting, hunting, archery, and sportfishing Industries.

Ripping through the internet at mach 2 this week — after getting home from hunting camp — I came across an article about AI resume writers. I dove in and started playing around. After spending a few dollars, I had a working rebuild of my resume that was exponentially better than my last resume. It was not, however, perfect and needed a personal touch and some editing, but it was a great starting point. All I had to do was connect my LinkedIn profile, and it walked me through the steps and pushed me to add in information at all steps.
I spent $2.95 for 14 days access. I was able to download a word document that I could easily edit on my own. The future is here however, you cannot allow the system to do all of the work for you. Take your time, do your editing, and read every word. The last thing you want to have to try and explain in an interview is some gibberish created by an AI system in your resume. We used myperfectresume.com to create our test resume.
It’s getting close to show season so it’s time for a little poll. This week we want to know how many of you are going to be attending the Archery Trade Association Show in Indianapolis.
Are you going to the ATA Show in Indianapolis? |
Have an amazing week!!
