I am boots on the ground in Nashville. I’m here because the SCI Show is in downtown Nashville. I have been a fan of this organization for almost 30 years. I first met Nelson Freeman in 2007. We met at the United States Fish and Wildlife Service office in an auditorium where they were taking comments on the bill that was focused on banning the import of Polar Bear into the United States. Anti-Hunters led that bill after seeing far to many Coca-Cola commercials with a cute cuddly polar bear cub. The bill has never once prevented anyone from hunting polar bear, it just banned the import of the hides after those hunters took the bear.
I testified at this hearing, as I was one of a few individuals who bothered to show up. I quickly realized that SCI was an organization that as a whole was doing the work necessary to protect hunting both domestically and internationally.
SCI is the tip of the spear in protecting hunting and they deserve our support. I urge each of you to become a member today! Go here and become a member: https://safariclub.org/join-today/. If you become a member for 3 years, you can get a $100 gift card for SKRE at a total cost of $150.

I am going to step off my soapbox and get back to work. If you’re in Nashville, reach out to meet up.
