Tips and career/job opportunities in the shooting, hunting, archery, and sportfishing industries.

Florida Time

I have three jobs and all three of them are passion projects that give me different fulfillment in my life. Huntinglife.com is doing amazing and our newest edition of Hunting Life Magazine just hit the newstands — you can read it free digitally.

My second project is this newsletter. We know we are on the right track, because we are starting to get some great responses from individuals, companies, and organizations that are truly paying attention to David Dolbee and I are doing with this newsletter and how it is growing. The buzz is starting to pick up. As we communicate with individuals, we are hearing that they are reading it and sharing it. Thank you to all of you who are subscribed, and thank you to those of you who are sharing it.

My third project, and one I am incredibly proud of, is my work as the Executive Director of AGLOW (Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers). The vast majority of my job is a combination of growing the organization, finding new sponsors and members, mentoring young writers, planning a yearly conference, and running media trips. This week, I am leading one of those trips and I am taking 5 writers and some individuals fishing this week in the Tarpon Capital of the World in Fort Myers, Florida. Did you know that Florida is responsible for 12 billion dollars of business, specifically focused on sport fishing? Florida is without question the capital of sport fishing in the United States and the world.

I’m going fishing tomorrow and this newsletter is coming to all of you. This newsletter is focused on hunting, shooting, archery, and sport fishing. So while I will be working, I will be enjoying every second of my day tomorrow. These are my three roles besides husband, father, and friend in my life. I have the best life, and we created this newsletter to help all of you find your best life.
